Put on your fanciest finery for Frosty Fest in Splatoon 3!
It’s time to get stylish! According to our research, a wave of dapperness is on the horizon. It’s true, my science squad: We’re witnessing the return of Frosty Fest!
Frosty Fest is a special in-game event when Inklings and Octolings get dressed to the nines (or is that “eights” for Octolings?) and participate in a holiday-themed Splatfest*. Consider this your invitation to the frostiest party in town!

When: Friday, Jan. 12 at 4:00 p.m. PT to Sunday, Jan. 14 at 4:00 p.m. PT (Pst! The Sneak Peek is going on right now!)
Dress code: Squidness Casual**
Question to answer: Who do you spend the holidays with? Friends, family, or solo?
Oh, and both Splatsville and Inkopolis Plaza will be getting Frosty Fest makeovers—after all, this amount of dapperness can’t be contained by just one city! As a reminder, you’ll need the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass DLC*** to hop between cities.
To fast-track your fashion options, there are some free in-game gear items. Look for the Frosty Fest news article on your Nintendo Switch™ system and follow the instructions to claim your items. Once you do, you can retrieve them from the terminal in the in-game Lobby.****
